A White House meeting between President Barack Obama and congressional leaders was ending and a joint statement was expected from Republican House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, according to a congressional source.

The meeting lasted about 80 minutes. There was no detail on the content of the joint statement.
