Obama Misses Hillary Clinton, Talks About Her Possible Run For President In 2016 [VIDEO]

He said it. President Obama misses former secretary of state Hillary Clinton.

In an exclusive interview with the "Today Show," Obama tells Savannah Guthrie that Clinton “earned her rest,” and that she’s a good friend.

On the possibility of Clinton succeeding him in office and running for president in 2016, Obama only offered high praise when Guthrie asked him if he personally hopes for a “Hillary 2016”campaign.

“I think we’re very far away from that,” he said. “But I have said before, and I’ll say again, I think she was an extraordinary secretary of state.”

He added, “I know that she's going to be able -- whatever she does -- to continue to be a leader and an incredibly positive force for the causes I care about and that she cares about all around the world."

In January, on CBS's "60 Minutes," Obama, in a side-by-side interview with Clinton, said, "I'm going to miss her."

Obama in December nominated John Kerry as his new chief foreign affairs adviser.
