U.S. President Barack Obama wrapped up his final Independence Day celebration at the White House on Monday with a special serenade to his eldest daughter Fourth of July festivities at the White House.

"Just because it's a job of a father to embarrass his daughters, I've got one last job," he told the crowd. "Just a quick 'Happy Birthday' for Malia."

Attendees delightedly chimed in before Malia, who turned 18 years old, walked on stage to give her father a hug.

The president was also joined at the event by performers Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monae.
