RTTNews - Wednesday, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development or the OECD said in a report that the consumer price index or CPI rose 0.6% year-over-year in April, slower than the 0.9% increase in the previous month.

In April, consumer prices for energy declined 13.3% annually, compared with 11.9% fall in the previous month. Food prices increased 3.3%, after rising 4.5% in March.

On a monthly basis, the CPI rose 0.2% in April, compared to the 0.3% increase in the preceding month.
