Monday, The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development or OECD said the unemployment rate for the world's developed economies rose to 7.6% in March from 7.3% recorded in February.
The unemployment rate for the Eurozone rose to 8.9% in March from February's 8.7% and that for Japan was at 4.8%, up from 4.4%.
The jobless rate for the major seven world economies grew to 7.5% from 7.2%. The figure for the European Union was at 8.3% in March, up from the previous month's rate of 8.1%.
