Surprisingly, she has surpassed the legendary psychedelic rock band Pink Floyd and the seminal album Bad of the king of music Michael Jackson.

According to the Official Charts Company, she just needs to sell 12,000 more copies to beat Dire Straits, who is at the no. 6 spot with its bestselling album “Brother In Arms.”

Adele has knocked out Pink Floyd's most commercially successful album “Dark Side of the Moon” released in 1973 with her second album released last year. Also, her “21” has now sold almost 61,000 more copies than MJ’s classic 1987 album “Bad.”

The other artists who made it to the top five biggest-selling albums of all time list include Queen at the first spot with her “Greatest Hits,” with 5.83 million sales; “Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band” by The Beatles with 5.04 million; Abba’s “Gold” is at the number three spot; “(What's The Story) Morning Glory?” by Oasis is at fourth and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” is at the fifth position.
