Microsoft unveils much-awaited Halo 4 at E3

At the E3 2011 press conference held at Los Angeles convention center, Microsoft Corp. premiered an interesting lineup of new games announcing further that the Halo 4 will be released in 2012.

The company has also exhibited the world premiere trailer for Halo 4 at the event. The science fiction game Halo was created by Bungie and owned and published by Microsoft Game Studios. Within a short duration, the sequels of the series went on to break various sales records. In fact, the cultural impact of the Halo series has been compared by writer Brian Bendis to that of Star Wars.

Besides this, Microsoft has also set to launch a new rebooted version of the original Xbox hit, titled Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on November 15.
