Olivia Wilde is defending Kim Kardashian and telling haters to stop judging the reality TV star.
Wilde, whose divorce from ex-husband Tao Ruspoli was finalized in September, told the New York Post that she empathizes with Kardashian.
It's not easy, Wilde said of divorce to the Post. It's the hardest thing in the world. People judge you because divorce is seen as failure.
She added that Kardashian took a risk.
No one should be attacking her, Wilde said. Our attention should be focused on things that are truly scandalous.
Wilde also took her defense to Twitter.
I've never seen the Kardashian show, she tweeted on Thursday. My point was that our collective brainpower is wasted on judging her. Let's end wars and feed people.
Wilde's defense comes in wake of a call to boycott all things Kardashian.
A Facebook page titled Boycott the Kardashians has more than 50,000 likes.
The Twitter feed @StopKardashian is sending tweets to members of Kardashian family -- including 14-year-old Kylie Jenner and 16-year-old Kendall Jenner.
Your whole family is a total fraud with absolutely NO talent - making $100 million of trash money! @StopKardashian tweeted to several members of the family.
