Olympus shares fell more than 10 percent Monday as buyers took profits after two weeks of gains made on hopes that the company will be able to survive an accounting scandal and remain listed on the stock exchange.

Ousted CEO Michael Woodford met with the Olympus board last Friday and said the priority for all members were to meet the December 14 filing deadline and avoid delisting.
