“Once Upon a Time” fans have been busy searching for Season 4 set photos on Twitter, but now the hit ABC series has done one better. The drama, which is set to introduce characters from Disney’s 2013 animated film “Frozen,” has released the first promotional photo for the upcoming season.

Time magazine has the exclusive photo, which features actress Georgina Haig as Elsa, the “Frozen” Snow Queen. Haig can be seen rocking the sparkly blue gown and long blonde braid that “Frozen” fans have come to know and love. But that’s not all -- the photo also features another new face from the animated movie; opposite Haig is Scott Michael Foster of ABC Family’s “Greek” and “Chasing Life.”

TVLine said in July that Foster had landed the role of Kristoff, the love interest of Elsa’s sister, Anna. Like his cartoon counterpart, Foster can be seen wearing a fur lined gray jacket. Missing from the promo photo is Anna, who will be played by Elizabeth Lail, a newcomer in the industry.

Besides Anna, “Once Upon a Time” fans are waiting to see “Lost” alum Elizabeth Mitchell. The name of her mysterious character is being kept under wraps, but Mitchell will reportedly play a villain from the “Frozen” universe. Viewers can also look forward to the introduction of Prince Hans, Anna’s love interest at the beginning of “Frozen,” who is later exposed to have ulterior motives in pursuing her.

The release of the promo photo comes a few days before “Once Upon a Time” casts a spell over the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. Co-creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will join stars Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Jared Gilmore, Robert Carlyle and Jennifer Morrison for a panel to discuss the “icy new twist,” along with “new characters, new adventures and new rivalries.” The panel will take place in Ballroom 20 this Saturday at 11 a.m. PDT.
