Storybrooke has received an icy makeover in Season 4 of “Once Upon a Time.” While fans have already seen pictures of “Frozen” characters Elsa, Anna and Kristoff, the latest promo video for the fourth season gives a quick look at how the Storybrooke residents will react to the icy newcomer.

“This September winter comes early when the town of Storybrooke gets ‘Frozen’ over,” teases the announcer for the “Once Upon a Time” trailer.

The promo kicks off with Elsa walking down the center of town as a trail of ice follows her. Rumpelstiltskin peeks out his window, surprised to see Storybrooke’s new visitor – but other seem prepared for Elsa’s arrival. Prince Charming and Snow White jump out from behind a car, armed with a sword and bow and arrow. Hook, on the other hand, has a suspicious look on his face and doesn’t seem pleased with his frozen hook hand. As for the Evil Queen and Emma? They are side-by-side outside of Granny’s restaurant as they watch Elsa walk by.

“Here we go again,” the Evil Queen says, her breath turning into a cloud of smoke. “Really?” Emma asks, frustrated with yet another problem to plague the town.

“Once Upon a Time” viewers will remember that Season 3 concluded with Emma and Hook arriving back to Storybrooke with an unwelcome stowaway. After quickly fleeing Rumpelstiltskin’s dungeon in the Enchanted Forest of the past, the pair didn’t realize that they accidentally brought an urn back with them. In the final moments of the finale, the urn opened to reveal Elsa, the snow queen from Disney’s 2013 animated film, “Frozen.”

As we previously reported, the Season 4 premiere will kick off “Frozen’s” introduction to “Once Upon a Time.” Fans will learn about Elsa’s past, what she did to end up in Rumpelstiltskin’s dungeon, and what her plans are now that she’s in Storybrooke.
