Fans of OnePlus’s design, which includes the sandstone-like back cover that brought it a degree of uniqueness, are eagerly awaiting the OnePlus 2 that the company is widely expected to release next month. The One set a strong benchmark with its premium, flagship-level, features at a much lower price than some competitors.

Among the features are a 5.5 inch IPS display, 3100mAh removable battery, 4G support, 3GB RAM with up to 64GB internal memory, and 13MP/5MP cameras. The phones run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor.

The company also announced recently that the new phone will ship with the Snapdragon 810 processor in version 2.1 that fixed overheating issues, which were reported for this chipset. The new phone -- and all its future versions --  will also be the first to officially run on the company’s own OxygenOS. The previous versions ran on the CyanogenMod, a software developed by the firm Cyanogen Inc.
