RTTNews - Tuesday, U.K.'s Office for National Statistics downwardly revised the decline seen in business investment in the first quarter.

According to the revised report, business investment dropped 7.6% quarter-on-quarter in the first three months of the year. Compared to the previous year, there was a decline of 9.7%.

In a preliminary report released on May 21, the ONS had said business investment fell 5.5% sequentially and declined 6.8% annually.

The value of investment was GBP 33.37 billion, revised from an initial estimate of GBP 33.04 billion.
