Oprah Winfrey, the talk show host and tastemaker maven, has sold her full-floor penthouse at 207 E. 57th St. in Manhattan for $7.9 million.

The New York Post reported that the buyer, an unidentified British financier, made an offer for the property in the first week after it was put on the market in February.

Winfrey bought the property for $7.3 million in 2008 but never lived there. Her friend Gayle King was previously a tenant.

The condo has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms, along with a 768-square-foot terrace and three walk-in closets. It also has floor-to-ceiling glass in its living room and walnut floors, according to the listing.

Mark Schoenfeld of the Corcoran Group was the listing broker.

Clarett Group and Prudential Real Estate Investors developed the building, which is branded as Place 57. Ismael Leyva Architects designed the glassy tower.
