On Wednesday afternoon, after 25 years of day time television, Oprah Winfrey will say farewell to The Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah herself called the final episode a love letter to her viewers.

Even though Oprah is leaving her show, her legacy and media empire live on. Oprah will now focus on improving the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), the cable channel that launched in January.

Even though Oprah will still be in the spotlight, her day time talk show will definitely be missed. Over the years she has hosted a number of guests, from A-list celebrities to everyday people changing the world. People such as President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, former First Lady Laura Bush, Mayor Bloomberg as well as entertainment stars such as Tom Cruise, Beyoncé, and Stevie Wonder have all graced Oprah's Chicago-based stage.

Join International Business Times for live coverage of the final episode of the legendary talk show. Coverage begins at 4 p.m. the same time as the show.
