Shares in Oracle Corp fell 2.8 percent to $21.50 in extended trade on Wednesday after the company posted first-quarter earnings.

First-quarter GAAP earnings per share were 22 cents, up 8 percent, while non-GAAP earnings were 30 cents per share, up 3 percent.
