Evangelist Oral Roberts died Tuesday of complications from pneumonia in Newport Beach, California, the Associated Press reported.

According to the report, Roberts was on Saturday hospitalized following a fall at his home.

Roberts was 91.

He established the Oral Roberts University which has become a Tulsa landmark and was a pioneer televangelist broadcasting television revivals in 1955.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
