Sounds like a storyline straight out of “Orange Is The New Black.”

According to reports, Taryn Manning, who plays Tiffany Doggett on Netflix’s hit prison drama, was accused of attacking her makeup artist Holly Hartman. But Manning’s legal team is attempting to call Hartman’s bluff, stating that their client hasn’t had contact with the alleged victim for months.

"The court has already denied the request by Ms. Hartman for a temporary restraining order. The application for the order is suspect because Ms. Manning has had no contact with Ms. Hartman in many months due to Ms. Hartman's actions against Ms. Manning which are currently under criminal investigation in multiple jurisdictions,” Manning’s lawyers said in a statement to US Weekly. But the fact that the 37-year-old actress hasn’t had any recent contact with Hartman isn’t the only thing found suspicious in Hartman's report.

According to People magazine, the judge denied Hartman’s request for a restraining order, which she filed in Los Angeles, due to the alleged attack having occurred in Manning’s apartment in New York.

The actress reportedly head-butted Hartman and sprayed Windex in her eyes before putting her in a headlock, according to TMZ.

“These investigations have long predated these entirely fabricated allegations,” Manning’s legal team continued. “Ms. Hartman is under investigation for stalking Ms. Manning and for theft and other crimes. It is clear that Ms. Hartman's camp has leaked these allegations which were not available publicly to elevate her own position and obscure her own wrong doing."

This isn’t the first scandal to have occurred between Manning and Hartman. In 2012, Manning was arrested for allegedly assaulting the makeup artist. However, the charges we later dropped.

Manning has since reached out to her fans on Twitter following the allegations against her. In a series of cryptic tweets, she warns others to “use discernment when befriending a fan.”

“Orange Is the New Black” Season 4 will stream on Netflix Friday, June 17.
