The U.S. Commerce Department said today in Washington that booking for long-lasting manufactured goods increased 2.2 percent in February, from a revised estimate of -3.6 percent in the prior month, less than analysts' median estimates of 3.0 percent.

Orders of U.S. Durables excluding transportation rose 1.6 percent last month, after falling by a revised 3.0 percent in January, slightly below median estimates of 1.7 percent.
