The Originals Season 2 spoilers
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will resort to a dangerous plan in order to save the life of his daughter in episode 19 of "The Originals." CW

Season 2 of “The Originals” is winding down, which means fans of the hit CW series can expect to sink their teeth into even more deliciously good drama during the four remaining episodes of the sophomore installment -- starting with episode 19. According to the synopsis for the upcoming episode, titled “When the Levee Breaks,” viewers should anticipate another “bloody” Mikaelson showdown.

“Dahlia (Claudia Black) gives Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) a deadline to turn over baby Hope,” the summary teases.

As fans of The CW series already know, Dahlia has made her New Orleans debut and is determined to take what is hers: i.e. baby Hope. (Many centuries ago, Esther made a fertility deal with her older and more powerful sister that involved the gift of fertility in exchange for the firstborn child to every Mikaelson generation.) But little does the evil enchantress know just how protective Klaus, Hayley and the rest of the Mikaelson gang are over the tiny hybrid and how determined they are to keep Hope safe.

According to the synopsis, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will attempt to sway his older brother “to work together” with his allies in order to save Hope from becoming Dahlia’s newest prisoner. But, of course, Klaus will have a different -- not to mention dangerous -- idea on how to put an end to Dahlia, one that will leave “everyone concerned about his next steps.”

“My brother’s lost his bloody mind,” Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) says in the promo video for the upcoming installment, bolstering that idea that Klaus may have dove off the deep end.

Meanwhile, "when Hayley realizes their chances of outrunning Dahlia are slim, she devises a risky plan and enlists Aiden’s (Colin Woodell) help,” the summary adds. Could Hayley finally be taking Jackson (Nathan Parsons) up on his offer to flee the city and move into the bayou?

The summary concludes that Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) will try to tame Klaus by cooking up a strategy on how to best deal with his mentor’s “erratic behavior.” But from the episode 19 trailer, it seems like that will be a risky and life threatening gig.

“I kill my enemies. Sometimes even my friends,” Klaus admits in the promo video for next week’s episode. Better watch your back, Marcel!
