Episode 3 teases a family reunion between Elijah (Daniel Gillies, above), Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and their mother in the upcoming installment of Season 2. The CW

Every good fairy tale needs a wicked witch, right? And that’s exactly what fans of the hit CW series will get when “The Originals” airs episode 3 of its second season. According to the synopsis for “Every Mother's Son,” Elijah (Daniel Gilies) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will reunite with their devious mother (who is currently using the vessel of a 16-year-old named Cassie [Natalie Dreyfuss]) during a dinner party hosted by the teenage witch.

But from what we can see in the promo video for “Every Mother's Son” it looks like Mama Esther is serving up more than just meat and potatoes to her boys. Cassie is seen splitting eggs, slicing snakes and casting spells for her venomous meal planned for her monstrous children.

However, prior to their family reunion, a lot of drama will be going down in the city of New Orleans. When episode 3 kicks off, it will begin with Davina (Danielle Campbell) hiding out in the woods. The Harvest witch knows it’s only a matter of time before Klaus hunts down her and Mikael (Sebastian Roche) to find the white oak stake. In episode 2, Elijah figured out it was the young witch who held the powerful weapon in addition to holding their menacing father captive. But will Davina be safe hiding out at her family’s cabin? Or will the hybrid hunt her down before episode 3 ends?

We know she won’t be able to seek out Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) for help considering he’ll be a little preoccupied in episode 3 trying to assist Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) in rescuing “unsuspecting teenagers” who have been recruited into a werewolf army by Vincent (guest star Yusuf Gatewood). Maybe this will prove to the other wolves that Hayley might make a good queen after all.

One of the most exciting plots to come will be Klaus and Elijah finding out not only are their parents alive, but so are their brothers! Kol, who is now in the body of Kaleb (Daniel Sharman), will “seek out Davina in order to locate the missing stake.” But he’ll be caught off guard when he has a “dangerous encounter at the cabin.” We smell a sibling rivalry!
