Orphan Black Season 4
Is Rachel (Tatiana Maslany) featured in the new "Orphan Black" Season 4 trailer? BBC America

The “Orphan Black” clones always keep an eye on each other, but they aren’t the only ones watching. The first Season 4 teaser makes it look like the women will have to worry about a spy.

The first promo for the BBC America drama doesn’t depict any action scenes in the series. Instead, it just shows an eye. Of course, this isn’t a normal eyeball: When it blinks, the iris reveals some sort of camera.

Although the trailer runs less than 15 seconds, it’s enough to make many “Orphan Black” fans excited. Who is the person with the eye? We have a few theories:

Rachel: The meanest clone has had quite a few ocular issues the past couple of seasons. In Season 2, Rachel’s (Tatiana Maslany) eye was stabbed with a pencil. In Season 3, the injured body part was replaced with a Neolutionist prosthetic eye. This makes it appear like the eye in the teaser most likely belongs to Rachel, but why does she need to be watched? When viewers last saw Rachel, her mother Susan (Christy Bruce) was holding her hostage in a posh bedroom. Will she let her daughter go in Season 4?

Delphine: Nobody knows whether Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) will survive being shot, but if she does, then the scientist could end up in enemy hands. The Neolutionists might try to use Delphine’s on-and-off relationship with Cosima (Maslany again) to spy on the clone and her sisters.

A New Character: Will one of the Project Leda clones let somebody new into their lives? It would seem as if they’re all too paranoid to welcome new friends, but perhaps someone will convince them that he or she is trustworthy.

“Orphan Black” Season 4 premieres on BBC America in April 2016. Who do you think the eye in the trailer belongs to? Sound off in the comments section below!
