Kathryn Bigelow became the fist woman to win the award for Best Director on Sunday at the 2010 Academy Awards, in which her film The Hurt Locker took five awards including Best Picture.

Sandra Bullock won for Best Actress for The Blind Side and Jeff Bridges won for Best Actor for Crazy Heart.
