Online and apps

Don't have a TV or won't be near one when the 2012 Oscars get underway? Have no fear. If you have an iPad or an iPhone organizers have made it possible for you to download the Oscars app by ABC Digital so that you can have access to the live streams of events that will be on the show's Web site.

The Oscars app does not stream the TV broadcast, but it is good to have while watching the live show because it provides access to live streams from the red carpet, backstage and at the Governors Ball. This feature is only available in the US.
