Sam Heughan feels bad for his “Outlander” fans. They have been experiencing “droughtlander,” a condition in which they miss their favorite historical drama. While they still have to wait until April, Starz has been giving fans special treats on the fourth of every month leading up to the "Outlander" Season 1, part 2, premiere. While the last special was a look into the past with a deleted scene, this month fans got a message from Heughan himself, along with some special footage of the next official trailer.
“This is now my home,” says Claire (Caitriona Balfe).
It seems that she has escaped from Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). The brief glimpses show Jamie (Heughan) and Claire in the forest and other locations. Another clip shows them looking very cozy by a fireplace.
“Do you wish to live separately?” Jamie asks, looking hurt.
“Well, that’s what I should want,” Claire says as she puts a hand over his heart.
Heughan interrupts the tender Jamie and Claire moment with a message for fans. “We know you can’t wait for the show to return on April 4,” he says. “Hang in there. Stay strong for us. It’s not that much longer.”

The full trailer will be out later this week, according to Heughan, and it will be the second trailer this winter. In December, fans were treated to a 20-second video, as well as a sneak peek at the second half of "Outlander" Season 1.
“Outlander” Season 1 returns Saturday, Apr. 4 on Starz. Do you think Jamie and Claire will stay together for the rest of Season 1 or will they be forced apart? Sound off in the comments section below!
