‘Outlander’ Season 3 Spoilers: Season Finale Synopsis, Video And Photos Released

“Outlander” Season 3 is almost over! With Jamie being arrested and Ian still captured, the Starz drama has a lot to do before the Droughtlander returns. It sounds like the finale will be packed with twists.

“Claire is forced to play a game of cat and mouse with an old adversary as she searches for Young Ian,” the synopsis teases.

The last episode of “Outlander” revealed that Geillis (Lotte Verbeek), the only other time traveler the show has introduced, is also in Jamaica, and she has Young Ian (John Bell). However, Geillis has some interesting beliefs about time travel. She believes human sacrifices are necessary, so obviously fans should be worried about her hostages.

In the trailer for the “Outlander” Season 3, episode 13, which is titled “Eye of the Storm,” Geillis is the star. “Strange how fate keeps bringing us together,” she remarks. Claire (Caitriona Balfe) discovers standing stones are in Jamaica, and she can hear the humming. That means she can travel through the stones, but will she actually go through them?

“Outlander” isn’t making fans worry too much about Jamie (Sam Heughan). The trailer shows he is free. Even fans who didn’t read the books can tell that having Lord John Grey (David Berry) as governor of Jamaica will be helpful.

It’s a good thing that Jamie’s legal troubles are on the backburner. Jamie and Claire have other concerns. Geillis has a deadly plan, and Claire will do whatever it takes to stop her.

“The Frasers race through the jungles of Jamaica to prevent the unthinkable,” the synopsis hints.

Will Claire and Jamie be able to bring Young Ian home safely? You’ll have to tune in to find out, but we can promise that no part of this journey will be easy.

After “Outlander,” Starz will premiere “Counterpart,” their new drama. J.K. Simmons stars as Howard Silk, a U.N. spy who learns that his organization knows how to cross into a parallel dimension. Suddenly, the only man Silk can trust is his counterpart from this parallel world. It’s no “Outlander,” but it might make hiatus a little easier. “Outlander” Season 4 likely won’t premiere for several months.

Fans will get their first brief sneak peek of Season 4 after the finale. Starz will air a quick preview.
