Raising military pressure on Gaddafi’s force, NATO strikes Tripoli for a second day, killing 19 civilians overnight, Libyan state television reported. At least six large explosions rocked Tripoli.

The strikes hammered Tripoli after French Defense Minister Gerard Longuet on Monday told local media that France would also set up attack helicopters to NATO’s Libya mission.

A military facility which had been used to launch attacks on civilians was targeted by our jets, NATO said in a statement.

“Three people were killed and 150 wounded in the attacks which targeted missile storage and maintenance site as well as a command-and-control site on the outskirts of Tripoli,” Moussa Ibrahim Libyan government spokesman said.
