Actor Owen Wilson welcomed a baby boy with personal trainer, Caroline Lindqvist, on Thursday, the actor’s representative confirmed to E! News.

According to reports, this is the 45-year-old actor’s second son. He has a 3-year-old son, Ford, from his previous relationship, who was born on Jan. 14, 2011, with his then-girlfriend, Jade Duell.

“I can confirm they had a baby boy on Thursday morning,” a statement made by the actor’s rep read. The news of Lindqvist’s pregnancy surfaced in early October and was later confirmed by the actor’s rep.

A source reportedly said after the baby’s news broke: “She is just happy that Owen is helping her out any way that he can.” The source also added that Wilson was “very supportive” of Lindqvist’s pregnancy. “They have an amicable relationship and [care about] what’s best for their unborn child.”

Although the couple is no longer together, Wilson is committed to raising the child with Lindqvist. A source reportedly revealed three months ago: “They get together for dinner and see each other fairly often.”

“Owen has shown a desire to be involved with ultrasounds and doctor appointments. He’s definitely invested in their unborn child,” the source added.

Lindqvist, 41, and the “Wedding Crashers” star started their relationship after Lindqvist separated from her husband, Dr. Ritu Chopra, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon. She filed for divorce shortly after she learned about her pregnancy.

In October, according to reports, a source told Star magazine: “She was shocked to learn that she was pregnant but decided to keep the baby.”
