The Pakistan rupee pared the gains it posted in early Wednesday Asian trading against the dollar. The rupee fell from an 8-day high of 79.90 to 80.68 by about 2:20 am ET. This set the lowest point for the rupee since March 09. If the Pakistan currency drops further, it may likely target the 80.81 level. At yesterday's New York session close, the dollar-rupee pair was quoted at 80.51.
