The Pakistan rupee that strengthened against the dollar in early Wednesday Asian trading lost ground after hitting a high of 79.96 at 12:20 am ET. The rupee dipped to 80.64 per dollar by about 1:40 am ET. This set the lowest point for the rupee since March 09. If the Pakistan currency weakens further, 80.8 is seen as the next target level.
