Pamela Anderson, best known for nude photos shoots in Playboy and a homemade porn video featuring Tommy Lee, will play the Virgin Mary -- mother of the baby Jesus -- in an forthcoming Christmas special.

Even though it may be difficult to visualize Anderson as the chaste mother of the Son of God, Canadian television network CTV announced Monday that Anderson will play the Virgin Mary in A Russell Peters Christmas Special.

The special, hosted by comedian Russell Peters, will air Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV. According to the broadcast, the special will be “an irreverent twist on the Christmas special making it unlike anything viewers have seen before.”

In addition to Anderson, Canadians Michael Buble, a singer, and Scott Thompson, formerly of The Kids in the Hall, as well as American Jon Lovitz, formerly of Saturday Night Live, will be making appearances on the Christmas special, The Hollywood Reporter said.
