The newly appointed Prime Minister in Greece Lucas Papademos said our membership of the euro is the only choice, referring that his country will be prone to bankruptcy if it did not follow the EU/IMF program announced on October 26.

Papademos said our membership of the euro is a guarantee of monetary stability and creates the right conditions for sustainable growth.

Greece has to accept the 130 billion-euro bailout in addition to implementing the budget measures to become eligible for receiving the next tranche of last year's 110-billion euro rescue package.

An expected vote of confidence on the new government is predicted to take place tomorrow while later in the day Greece seeks to sell 1 billion euros of 13-week notes.
