Sunday's upcoming NHL All-Star Game will be played in Raleigh, North Carolina. However, the game will be played without Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby who will skip the game while he continues to recovery from a concussion that has kept the star center off the ice for three weeks.

Crosby, who is currently the leading vote-getting among NHL players for Sunday's game, was injured earlier this month in a game against Toronto when he was hit into the boards by the Maple Leafs' Victor Hedman on this play.

According to Penguins GM Ray Shero, Crosby is still experiencing symptoms but has made progress in his recovery. The team hopes that the added time off will help speed along his recovery so that he can return to the team's lineup sooner, though there is currently no timetable set to determine when that will be.
