The vice governor of the People's Bank of China Su Ning said that China would keep following its moderately loose monetary policy till the end in of 2009 and in 2010, while he added that major economies started to show sings of recovery, despite unemployment in the U.S Europe and Japan remain high.

However, Ning added that the central bank will maintain liquidity levels in order to boost the economy, while it is going to strengthen risk control to make sure that new loans are supporting the real economy. The consumer prices index remain below zero, while weak demand from the U.S is affecting exports badly, that is why the central bank will keep its exceptional policy.
