The 39th People’s Choice Awards, where the fans choose the winners, is being broadcast on CBS on Wednesday.

The first award ceremony of the year is being hosted by “Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco and will feature performances by Christina Aguilera, Jason Aldean and Alicia Keyes.

The live streaming red carpet coverage begins at 8 p.m. EST with the live show beginning at 9/8c.

This year’s event has nearly 50 categories for fans to choose their favorites, from television to movies to music.

The People’s Choice Awards ceremony also has two awards that directly concern the fans.

The first category is for Favorite TV Fan Following, which consists of Gleeks from “Glee,” Little Liars from “Pretty Little Liars,” Oncers from “Once Upon a Time,” SPNFamily from “Supernatural” and even the “TVDFamily” from The Vampire Diaries.

For Favorite Music Fan Following, the contenders are Beliebers for Justin Bieber, Directioners for One Direction, KatyCats for Katy Perry, Lovatics for Demi Lovato and Selenators for Selena Gomez.

A day before the 2013 awards show, fans have taken to social media to share their excitement for the celebrity studded event.

@Natalia_Penuela asked for fans to vote for Emma Watson by referring to them as “Potterheads, “#Potterheads, keep on voting for people's choice awards We can do it!”
