When Ellen DeGeneres, host of the 86th Academy Awards, rounded up a bunch of movie stars to “break the record for the most retweets" with a mass selfie, several A-listers rose to the occasion. There was Brangelina, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Bradley Cooper and – wait, whose that guy with the thick-rimmed glasses, blue bowtie and Will Smith circa “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”-style hairdo?

Us Weekly reports that the bespectacled wildcard was Peter Nyong’o, Lupita Nyong’o’s younger brother and her plus-one for the evening. The 20-year-old Florida college student managed to wiggle his way into the most retweeted photo of all time. That’s a photobomb to top all photobombs.

Peter Nyong'o lives in DeLand, Fla, and is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences at Stetson University, according to the Orlando Sentinel. He enrolled in the fall of 2013.

"I think that's his win for sure," Lupita Nyong’o, 31, later said, according to Vibe. "He got into the most famous selfie in the world. I'm glad I could have facilitated that."

Peter Nyong’o’s epic Oscars photobomb made a stir on the Monday talk show circuit. “Your brother is very famous now,” Ellen DeGeneres noted during an interview with Lupita Nyong’o. “You can see him more than just about anybody.”

Lupita joked that her brother “upstaged” her.

"Lupita Nyong'o's brother got prime real estate," Sherri Shepherd said of the photo on Monday’s “The View.”

According to The Daily Mail, Peter Nyong’o was born in Kenya after his family returned there from Mexico in the early 1990s. His Oscar-winning sister was born in Mexico City in 1983 while their parents were in political exile.
