Producer prices in the Philippines rose 2.7% year-on-year in February, slowing from a revised 3.3% increase in the previous month, the National Statistics Office said Monday.

On an annual basis, 14 of the major sectors showed double-digit rise in prices, with producer prices increasing the most by 18% in fabricated metal products.

Month-on-month, producer prices fell 0.1% in February, compared to a revised 2.5% decline in January, mainly due to prices falling in seven of the major sectors.
