An unidentified woman, part of a group that toured the red light district's new fashion studios, passes the window of a prostitute, left, adjacent to one of the studios, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Saturday Jan. 19, 2008. Instead of selling sex, Amsterdam is trying to sell sexy. The city unveiled its "Red Light Fashion" project on Saturday, in which 16 buildings that used to house prostitutes in the heart of the city's ancient red light district have been converted into studios for young fashion designers. The red light district has been a center of prostitution since Amsterdam's golden age in the 1600s. After the second world war, it became one of Amsterdam's major tourist attractions, along with coffee shops where marijuana is sold openly. (AP Photo/Peter Dejong)
