Spanish painter, Pablo Picasso lived most of his life in France. He is known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for his unique style of painting.

After relocating from Paris to the South of France, themes of human conflicts and war were prominent amongst many of his works. He also expressed a desire for peace and understanding in these works.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's latest exhibition titled Picasso: Peace and Freedom devotes itself to the famous painter with more than 100 of his works.

The exhibition focuses on how Picasso related to historical and political events occurring during his time through his artwork.

The exhibition is coming to an end on May 29.
