Pink opened up in a new interview for Glamour magazine’s June issue. The alternative pop star explained why sex is so prominent on her new album, “The Truth About Love,” and even talked about dating a boy band member when she was younger.

“I’m a reformed slut,” the 33-year-old mother of Willow, 23 months, with Carey Hart, told the magazine, as quoted by Us Weekly. She uses the word “slut” to try to weaken its meaning.

"It's my very unsophisticated way of taking the power back," she said. "I've always had an issue with [the notion that], 'OK, we've both decided to do this. Why am I a slut and you're the player? You didn't get anything from me that I didn't get from you.'"

She even touched on a secret relationship she had with Joey Fatone when she opened up for the multiplatinum boy band ‘N Sync in the early 2000s.

"Joey Fatone was in love with me," the singer said. "He took me to Friendly's on a date and he bought me an ice cream. Such a sweetheart. He asked my dad's permission!"

Even though love wasn’t in the cards when she dated Fatone, she certainly seems to have found true love with Hart. Even though the “Just Give Me A Reason” star split up with Hart before Willow’s birth, she says there are happier than they ever have been. But it doesn’t mean they don’t have to put work into their seven-year relationship.

"Long-term relationships are an everyday choice. It's harder to be in a marriage than it is to bounce from one relationship to the next," Pink said. "We're good because we communicate and we've grown up together, not because we don't fight."

She described being a mother as "the raddest thing ever," but also added she wasn’t perfect at being a mother."When I was at iHeartRadio in Vegas, Carey was at a truck race or something. Willow and I were at the pool, and I was taking her to nap time. She was walking just a foot in front of me. And she tripped and fell and got a concussion. She passed out," the singer said. "Cut to an ambulance and fire truck. And a CAT scan. She was about a year old. That was the worst day of my life. And what do they say? 'Kids fall.' Welcome to parenthood. I thought, 'I can't handle this. I'm fitting her for a bubble.'"

Another thing Pink has to get used too, keeping her potty mouth in check when around her young daughter:

"Willow said, 'F-ckin' hi,' the other day. I'm like, 'F-ck!'" We're gonna get a [swear] jar. Have to!"
