Pippa Middleton has given up her spot on the world's best behind list. Three years after she gained worldwide recognition for showing off her figure at the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton’s royal wedding, the Duchess’ sister has now decided to pass along her best bottom crown to another famous face.

In a special Christmas blog for the UK’s the Spectator, Pippa, 31, touched on American’s obsession with “booty culture” and Kim Kardashian’s recent attempt to “break the internet” with her nude winter 2014 Paper magazine cover which shows off the TV star's infamous behind.

“No year is complete without a bottom story, and the ‘Rear of 2014’ award undoubtedly goes to Kim Karsdashian, after her posterior exploded all over the internet last month,” she wrote.

While Pippa and Kim both gained fame for their enviable backsides, Pippa, who also work as a party-planning author, claims hers and the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality star’s situations are not similar.

“I must say that mine — thought it has enjoyed fleeting fame — is not comparable,” Pippa wrote, later adding, “Kim’s aim, apparently, was to break the internet. But I’m not sure she’s going the right way about it.”

Did Kate Middleton’s little sister just subtly slam reality royalty? It sure seems that way!

Pippa, the only sister of Prince William’s wife, Kate, 32, caused a media frenzy when she wore a figure-hugging Alexander McQueen gown to the royal wedding at Westminster Abbey in London in 2011. She has spoken out about her maid of honor attire on multiple occasions, most recently in June during her first television interview with the “Today” show’s Matt Lauer.

“It was completely unexpected. I think the plan was not really for it to be a significant dress, really just sort of blend in with the train,” Pippa said, going on to call the world’s fascination with her backside “flattering.”

While Pippa claims she will never gain sport the infamous gown, she did reveal her plans to keep it as memorabilia. “I think it’s sort of the thing I’m sure I’ll bring out if someone wanted to see I or if my children one day want to see it, then I’ll show them,” she said.

Kim, 34, has yet to address Pippa’s comments, but she had no issue defending her nude shoot from other naysayers last month. “I love the photos, I did it for me, I hope other people like them,” she said of the images, some of which feature her bare breasts. “I’m never one to preach, but I felt really positive and really good about myself.”
