Just as Pippa Middleton turned heads with her style at her sister Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011, she attracted a lot of attention at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, England, on Sunday. Princess Charlotte’s christening was a family affair. The tiny tot’s extended family turned out en masse for the occasion, according to Us Weekly.

While her elder sister Kate was dressed in a cream-colored ensemble, Pippa looked resplendent in a matching outfit by New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead. The bespoke coatdress featured a high neck with pocket detailing and long sleeves. She paired the retro-inspired dress with an ivory Jane Taylor Millinery hat. Pippa’s custom-made straw cocktail hat had organdy and nude feather details.

The 31-year-old kept her jewelry minimal in the form of teardrop earrings and a ring on her little finger. She complimented her look in a pair of patent nude court shoes by Charlotte Olympia. “Pippa Middleton is the epitome of elegance and style. And I could not be more honored to see her wearing one of my designs so beautifully today at such a significant royal occasion,” Taylor said.

Kate has worn Wickstead creations to many official outings, including events for Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. Born in Auckland, Wickstead moved to Milan at age 14 before studying at London’s Central Saint Martins. Her label began as a made-to-measure business in 2008, but soon developed a following in certain West London circles for her contemporary take on event dressing.

Also in attendance at the christening were Pippa’s parents, Carol and James Middleton, and her brother James. The media darling has been making headlines recently for her involvement with the British Heart Foundation. Kate’s younger sibling took part in London’s Brighton Bike Ride on June 21, and raised funds for the cause prior to the race by teaming up with London fashion designer Tabitha Webb to create two cute pieces.

Pippa recently modeled a design during a visit to the Aegon Tennis Championships at the Queen’s Club. She wore a limited-edition Tabitha Webb dress. The silk pink tea garment and scarf is available exclusively at Webb’s Belgravia store and online at tabithawebb.co.uk. Pippa paired the dress with a Dee Ocleppo primrose handbag, which also is available online.
