As Pippa Middleton’s wedding date nears, E! News released the details of the kind of wedding dress she could be wearing.

A source close to British fashion designer Giles Deacon's team told E! News the design of Pippa’s wedding dress is "very simple, elegant and it's all handmade" and "very few people have seen the finished thing."

It remains unknown which designer’s dress Pippa would be wearing. Deacon was seen visiting Pippa’s London home last November along with her mother Carole Middleton, sparking speculation she may have decided to wear a wedding dress designed by him.

Pippa is set to wed hedge fund manager James Matthews on May 20 at St. Mark’s Church in Berkshire, England. After the wedding ceremony, the guests will reportedly gather at the 18-acre Georgian Grade II-listed manor home of the Middletons in Buckleberry. The couple will also have an after-party similar to that of her sister Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding.

The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to attend her younger sister’s wedding, but it remained unclear what role she would play on Pippa’s big day.

“Kate would upstage her sister. It’s a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?” Judy Wade, author of "Diana: The Intimate Portrait" told People magazine last July. “But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible.”

Kate and William’s children Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 2, will be page boy and flower girl at the wedding. Last month, Kate joined Pippa on her bachelorette party in Meribel, France. During the party, Pippa and her guests reportedly received Swatch watches, UGG slippers, leather-bound notebooks and personalized perfumes.

A Wednesday report from Vogue magazine said the 33-year-old bride-to-be told her guests to wear two outfits to her wedding — one for the ceremony and another for the reception.

The wedding will also be reportedly attended by Prince Harry’s girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle. The "Suits" star has started preparations for her dress for the wedding. She reportedly went for two separate fittings in Toronto for her outfit, triggering speculation she would be attending the ceremony and the reception.

On April 17, People magazine reported Markle would attend only the after-party, which is expected to be less formal. Myka Meier, founder and director of Beaumont Etiquette, told the magazine at the time there may be a “no ring, no bring” rule.

“Pending how intimate Pippa wants to keep her wedding, she may very well follow the ‘no ring, no bring’ rule,” Meier told People magazine at the time. Markle is also reported to be taking time off from shooting the hit legal drama, Suits between May 15 and May 22.
