New aerial photos from the production sets of the forthcoming movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” have leaked online. One photo shows a ship being used in the movie and another shows a medieval village. [Spoiler alert]

This photo posted by Jared C. Adamo on Twitter shows a ship hidden from public view behind large containers. The ship is slightly tilted. According to the post, it may have “run aground” in the movie. It is unclear if a scene was being filmed at the time the picture was taken, as very few crew members can be seen.

Another picture posted on Twitter shows a medieval village set with a guillotine, gallows and broken bandstand. Many crew members can be seen with some heavy machinery, including large cranes.

Johnny Depp, who will reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, appeared at this location earlier to film a scene. This behind-the-scenes video shows the actor surrounded by British soldiers as they prepare the guillotine to execute some pirates.

Another video from the same location was posted on Gold Coast Bulletin. The video shows that after executing two prisoners, the British soldiers prepare to execute Sparrow. Depp was perhaps the only one who noticed there was a camera filming the cast and crew from above -- so he waved.

The execution scene was filmed June 9, which was Depp's 52nd birthday. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer shared a photo of the cake that was presented to the actor. Depp has also met with many of the fans who have been visiting the production sets of the movie in Australia.

“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is slated to be released on July 7, 2017, in the U.S. It also stars Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally and Martin Klebba. The role of the main villain, Captain Salazar, will be played by Javier Bardem.
