Not much is known about the upcoming sequel to the 2012 breakout hit musical comedy “Pitch Perfect.” But for the legions of fans clamoring for any new information about the return of Beca, Chloe and Fat Amy, even the tiniest morsel of news is cause to celebrate.

We're talking about Brittany Snow’s latest tease about the songs that will be featured in “Pitch Perfect 2.” Producer Elizabeth Banks has the whole cast on a strict gag order when it comes to any information about the movie, but that didn’t stop Snow from revealing what fans can expect from the soundtrack.

“There are a lot of mashups in this one, and there’s this one performance in which we actually go insane and do all this great stuff,” she told E! Online at Elle’s Women in TV celebration. “I [use a] glow stick and there’s hula-hooping. There’s all sorts of madness. We got to get a little down and dirty.”

Unfortunately, this doesn’t exactly give any clues about the songs to be sung in the upcoming movie. However, if Snow is talking about getting “down and dirty,” no one in the “Pitch Perfect” crew does it quite like Rebel Wilson’s character, Fat Amy.

In December, the “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” star revealed that she’s got a solo song in “Pitch Perfect 2.”

“Elizabeth Banks might kill me if I say what it is,” Wilson told MTV News, adding only that the song is “an old classic” – whatever that means.

It looks like the cast members are really respecting the secrecy of the project, likely for fear of incurring the wrath of Banks, who also appears as a competition judge in the movie. So far the only musical glimpse for fans came from the film’s first trailer. In it, the girls gather around a bonfire to sing a toned-down version of, you guessed it, Anna Kendrick’s “Cups” song from the first movie.

“Pitch Perfect 2” is scheduled to hit theaters May 15, 2015. Until then, fans will just have to watch the first trailer on repeat with us below.
