The PlayStation 4 launch is just 10 days away, and Sony is ramping up its marketing blitz ahead of the big day. In the last few days, new commercial spots as well as videos of “Killzone: Shadow Fall” and “Resogun” have been showing off the PS4’s capabilities.

The new PS4 commercials help prepare gamers for what to expect from the next-gen console. The first video shows off the remote play capability of the PS4 and the PS Vita, previewing the ability to stop playing “Knack” on the PS4 and switching to the Vita. The other commercials show off the available games while emphasizing the amount of developer input into the creation of the PS4. The last commercial focuses on the DualShock 4 and some of the different design features and functions, such as the share button and the touchpad. The PS4 launch videos can be viewed below.

As Sony starts its marketing blitz for the PS4, it is also showcasing one of the bigger games of the launch, “Killzone: Shadow Fall.” The new gameplay footage gives gamers a look at a multiplayer match, but Sony is asking users to download the video and did not provide a streaming option. According to the company, “In order to properly demonstrate the framerate and resolution we achieve in Shadow Fall’s multiplayer, we’ve captured and lightly compressed new footage that we’re not offering through a video-sharing service. Instead, we ask that you download and locally view the high-resolution, uncompressed footage directly from us.”

For many gamers, the focus may be on games like “Killzone,” “Driveclub,” “Call of Duty: Ghosts” or “Battlefield 4,” but an arcade shooter like “Resogun” can serve as an impressive showcase for what the PS4 can do. Kotaku has uploaded a slow-motion video of the gameplay, revealing the tiny details and the very busy action, countless explosions, enemies and bullets of “Resogun.”

Kotaku's "Resogun" footage as well as the PS4 launch videos can be viewed below.
