Japanese magazine CoroCoro has once again leaked some interesting information about Game Freak’s upcoming games, “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon.” Based on the newly leaked details, we now have the answer as to why Type: Null is named in a peculiar way. There’s also info about Jangmo-o’s evolutions.

Serebii.net managed to obtain images from CoroCoro this week, and they don’t disappoint when it comes to raising the hype over the Nintendo 3DS-exclusive Pokémon titles. One of the big revelations featured in the leaked images pertain to Type: Null’s Ability and its special item.

CoroCoro’s new leak claims that Type:Null evolves into Silvadi or Shiruvadi. However, in order for it to evolve, it must first learn to trust its Trainer and destroy its helmet. On the official “Pokémon Sun and Moon” website, the helmet or mask is described as an extremely heavy piece of equipment that limits Type: Null’s latent powers and hinders its agility. Thus, it makes sense that it needs to destroy its helmet first, before it can evolve.

In addition, the leak also has an explanation why Type: Null is named in a peculiar way. The Normal-type Synthetic Pokémon is said to possess a special item called Memory. This item is quite important for it activates the Pokémon’s AR System Ability, which allows it to switch to any of the 18 types. The item is also essential when Type: Null unleashes its attack called Multi Attack that is also capable of changing type.

Meanwhile, previous information released by The Pokémon Company about Jangmo-o was very limited. The Scaly Pokémon was said to be a Dragon-type pocket monster with Bulletproof/Soundproof Ability. Despite its relatively small size, Jangmo-o was revealed to be one that never backs in the face of its enemies.

Also, based on a previous leak, it was found out that Jangmo-o’s Soundproof Ability can block Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir’s Hyper Voice. This leak even hinted the arrival of the Mega Evolutions into the Alola region before The Pokémon Company confirmed it via a recent teaser trailer.

Now the new details about Jangmo-o are about its evolutions. According to the Japanese magazine, Jangmo-o’s evolved forms are Jarango and Jararango. BulbaNewsNow noted that Jangmo-o’s evolutions are both Dragon/Fighting-type. Check them out at the bottom of the image shown below.

Another interesting bit that CoroCoro leaked is Grimer’s Alola form. Initial translation of the leak stated that Alolan Grimer is Poison/Dark-type. Describing the modified appearance of Alolan Grimer, Reddit user Dragon_Fang wrote that its body has a yellow sludge that is somehow inspired by water or leaked car coolant. The Redditor pointed out that this makes sense because sludge and water are abundant in the Alola region.

Finally, the last new info that the leaked images revealed is the first Trial Captain Trainers are going to meet in the games. PLDH.net has learned that the first Trial Captain is Captain Ilima, who is shown next to Hau in one of CoroCoro’s pages.
