RTTNews - Friday, Poland's Central Statistical Office announced that the industrial production declined 5.2% year-over-year in May, compared with a 12.2% fall in April, revised from 12.4% drop estimated initially. Economists were looking for a decline of 6.6%.

On a monthly basis, industrial production dropped 1.8% in May, after falling 7.1% in April.

For the January to May period, industrial production decreased 9.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
