RTTNews - Poland's manufacturing sector increased to the fourth consecutive month in August, a report from Markit Economics/HSBC said on Tuesday.

The HSBC Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index or PMI rose to 48.2 in August from 46.5 in July. This was the highest level since May 2008.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 signals a contraction.
