Wednesday, the National Bank of Poland said in a report that the core inflation stood at 3.6% year-over-year in March, up from 3.3% rise recorded in the previous month. A year ago, inflation was 4.1%.

Food and energy prices increase 2.5% annually in March, compared to the 2.4% rise in February. At the same time, administrative prices rose 2.7%.

On a monthly basis, the core CPI grew 0.7% in March, slower than the 0.9% increase in the previous month.
